The splined system allows you to quickly and easily replace worn SPEEDHUB sprockets without the need for special tools. All you need to do is buy the splined adapter and matching sprocket. Then you only need to purchase the cheaper splined sprocket. All retrofit SPEEDHUBs currently supplied by Rohloff AG are already equipped with the splined adapter.
